You’ll receive a bespoke, custom website designed to not only to look amazing but to convert your visitors into customers.
Your websites will include a WordPress content management system that enables you to easily make changes to text and images, work responsively on all tablets and mobiles and come with a free basic maintenance contract for a year.
Your site will also be optimised to make sure it is Google friendly. I will also implement additional marketing strategies to ensure you get found online through Google Business and Yoast SEO plugin.
I can also register your domain name, set up your email addresses and assist in configuring hosting and SSL Certificates.
I mainly work with new start-up businesses and small to medium size businesses where I offer a personal service where possible, I can visit or talk to you as many times as required to understand what you want from your website and to advise you on the best approach to designing it.
I don’t outsource any of my web projects and personally take care of every element of the design and build process, ensuring that perfecting your new website is as stress-free as possible.

HOW MUCH DOES THE DOMAIN, HOSTING AND SSL CERTIFICATE COST TO RENEW?

DO I OWN THE WEBSITE?
The domain if you require me to register it will be in your name with confirmation from Nominet.
Everything that I design under your domain will be your property and under copyright.
CAN I UPGRADE MY MAINTENANCE CONTRACT?
Yes, the basic maintenance contract consists of spending a number of hours each month updating all plugins, themes and security, make a back up of your site and offer telephone support during office times.
This contract is available for £125 per year.
If you require text and image changes to your site, we can talk about the frequency of those changes and work out a cost per year based on those changes.
WILL YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN MY DOMAIN, SSL CERTIFICATE AND HOSTING EXPIRES?
Yes, I will contact you via email 2 weeks before any expiry date and again a week before via email and text message.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH TO GET STARTED?

The text will somewhat dictate the design so I require the final text content before the design of your home page. (Please see web design process below)
Photos
I require high resolution images with a size of more than 2000px wide. If you don’t have these, I can source stock images or recommend a photographer.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE SITE?
Yes, WordPress is the best content management system out there. When your site is complete, you will receive an username and password to gain full administration access with a link to the full theme editing documentation with hundreds of text and video tutorials.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT?
Dependent on the size of the project, it will usually take me 2-3 weeks for Business Starter websites and 5-7 weeks for eCommerce websites.
DO I NEED A SSL CERTIFICATE?
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates provide a specific method of encryption. They ensure that the data going from the user’s computer to the website stays secure and unreadable to any malicious intruders like hackers and identity thieves and therefore, it remains safely protected.
The importance of owning an SSL certificate can be seen in the following:
- It promotes data security and keeps all data between servers protected.
- It builds digital trust and shows you care about your visitors’ data safety.
- In the SEO context, HTTPS websites might experience a ranking boost.
DO YOU OFFER SEO SERVICES?
No but I will set your site up with the basic SEO structure using Yoast SEO plugin and link your site with Google business.
I can recommend a good SEO company to get you started. I have worked with this company for a few years and have had no complaints from my clients.

Web Design Process
It’s important you choose the right designer to create your website. I always start with a conversation asking you about your business, your market, and what you want to achieve from your new website. I will then email you a summary proposal with everything you require with full costs.

Look out the insights and information needed to design and build your bespoke site which will engage visitors and entice them to contact you or buy your product or service.
Coming Soon
Purchase domain, add hosting, SSL Certificate, WordPress, premium theme, plugins and design a coming soon page with logo, social media and contact details.
Content
When I receive your final content, based around what we agreed in your proposal, I will structure a layout with navigation and all other functional elements of your site.
Design
Taking inspiration from everything we have discussed, I will create a fully operational home page with imagery giving you a general idea of how your site will look.
Go Live
After designing the other pages with all content and functionality and installing your site security and you are 100% happy with everything, we can decide a time to go live.
Maintenance
Every site has a free yearly maintenance contract where I spend a few hours each month updating all plugins, themes and security and make a back up of your site.
